We have been able to obtain the following approximate timeline for the new playground in the Somerset Towne Square.
Old playground is currently being removed. Calgary Parks will begin their portion of the site preparation on July 9th.
The playground installer will begin their portion of the site preparation on July 23rd. Installation of the new playground equipment will take place from August 2nd – 13th. Installation of the new fall surface will take place from August 14th – 21st.
At that point Construction Completion. Certification and Final Acceptance Certification need to be completed. Hoping for late August opening or early September.
